A checklist for getting products from a seismic processing shop.

A beautiful seismic volume to interpret Usually prestack time migration.
Unfiltered, attribute-friendly data Always ask for the unfiltered data; use it for attributes.
Limited-angle stacks Angle ranges depend on data and need; get at least three volumes.
Rich, informative headers Acquisition basics, processing parameters, replacement velocity, datum, geometry, geography.
Processing report Acquisition parameters as well as all the processing decisions.
Parameter volumes Time-varying filters, adaptive and spatially varying parameters, e.g. anisotropy coefficients.
Migration velocity field Ask for a SEG-Y volume; get the actual velocity functions as well.
Surface elevation map In depth and in time; might be tucked away in the SEG-Y headers.
Fold data At important depths, or get a cube.
